I write again in the spirit of transparency and conscience, both as a citizen of a country I no longer recognize and as an individual seeking a life anchored in peace, principle, and civic responsibility.

My prior letter addressed the troubling pattern of undeclared U.S. wars and the alarming shift toward executive militarism without meaningful congressional oversight. Today, I wish to briefly elaborate on what this has meant for ordinary Americans like myself—those who have neither voted for war nor profited from it, but who are nevertheless compelled to fund it.

Across decades and administrations, American taxpayers have been conscripted—financially—into funding military campaigns, proxy conflicts, and foreign regime changes. These operations are often carried out in the name of “freedom” or “stability,” but their results speak for themselves: shattered societies, enduring chaos, and an ever-growing web of strategic entanglements that few voters support and even fewer understand.

I believe that the average American has become little more than a silent shareholder in a global military-industrial machine, stripped of true democratic input. This state of affairs is not only unjust—it is unsustainable.

It is within this context of moral fatigue and political disillusionment that I am once again seeking information about obtaining residency in Estonia. My reasons are neither economic nor opportunistic. Rather, they stem from a desire to live under a government that remains committed to lawful governance, transparent civic structures, and genuine democratic values.

Estonia represents, to my mind, a beacon of what is still possible in the world: a nation that remembers occupation, values independence, and understands that freedom must not be used as a pretext for conquest.

If there are pathways to residency for individuals like myself—those who seek to live in alignment with the values they believe in—I would be truly grateful for your time and guidance.

With deep respect and enduring hope,
Aaron James Summers
